About Us

Classrooms Without Walls uses Internet technology to help you learn English as a Second Language. My goal is to use Skype, social networks, online resources and cell phones to provide you quality content and lessons.

Online technology enhances learning languages or almost any subject. Classrooms Without Walls uses a variety of established online sites to offer English as a Second Languages courses in addition to using Skype and other technologies.

I offer classes on eduFire; click here to view my eduFire profile. You can also find me on Palabea, click here to view my Palabea profile (you need to be a member of Palabea (free of charge) to view my profile) and on iTalki (click on the "my profile at italki image" below on the right). I am also a Myngle affiliate (click on the "Myngle affiliate  image" below on the right). LiveMocha is an excellent site for self-practice.

These sites offer a variety of quality options that suit the many different learning styles of students. Choose the platform that is right for you or contact me. I look forward to helping you learn English.

Sincerely,

Alan

Writing Exercise for ESL Learners

Below is a picture I took of a musician in Harvard Sq, Cambridge, MA. What is he thinking? What
type of music is he playing? Write a few paragraphs (or more if you choose) telling me a story about
this musician. I will help you improve your writing.

Welcome
Welcome to Cell Phone College. This space explores ways to use technology in education. I emphasize cell phone because that is the one device that just about every one has. It is the portable, pocket Internet device.

Sincerely,
Alan
